Illustrations
Using Adobe Illustrator, I've been crafting my skills on creating digital portraits. I love taking scenes from my favorite movies, shows, and people and designing my own version of them. I originally fell in love with this concept when I was given the opportunity to work on a series design for the church I interned for. That specific project can be seen below.
SLIDE TO SEE MORE
Big Screen
I was given the opportunity to create and design Journey Church's entire summer series called Big Screen. The series involves taking big blockbuster hits and interpreting them to the bible. It's a pretty common trend in many churches as of the last few years.
For this series, the selected movies included: Hidden Figures, We Bought A Zoo, Passengers, and Mom's Night Out. I decided to create individual movie posters for each of the movies instead of just the one main series design. After drafting out different ideas, I decided to create a simplistic illustrated design that'd represent each of the movies.

This is the Hidden Figures movie poster promo. It was the first one I created and it helped spark my interest in designing more illustrations just like this. This will forever be one of my favorite illustrations. Created in Adobe Illustrator.

This is the movie poster I created for We Bought A Zoo. It took me some time to figure out what exactly I wanted to do for this promotion, but I decided to interpret the movie's teamwork theme. Created in Adobe Illustrator.

Family FEels
Another series project I was given design freedom to work on was a new series called Family Feels. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the series poster design. I used patterns and old retro photos found on Flickr or my own personal ones to make a collage. Along with the overall series design, I was in charge of creating the Family Feels promo video, which can be viewed on my motion media page and YouTube channel.
