ABOUT EMILY
OH HELLO,
I'm Emily Burnett. I'm a Digital Media Specialist from Houston, Texas – born and raised. I'm a proud University of Houston alum (Go Coogs!) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media and a Minor in Organizational Leadership and Supervision.
My passion is storytelling and creating discussions around different social topics through multiple creative mediums. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, painting, traveling, and befriending as many dogs as I can.
CurrentlY
As the Digital Media Coordinator at River Pointe & West End Church, my current goal is to advance my leadership skills and creative direction. Providing guidance and instruction for my team of media interns is my main priority, along with creating meaningful content for RPC|WE.
AWARDS & RECOGNITION
While at University of Houston, I spent a large portion of time making videos and animations. Through the DigiFest at UH, I won a few awards for my work.
